This is my new version of iTunes 8.1

Originally I've made my first iTunes skin in earlier 2005 to complete my OSX appearence theme.
Previous versions are all blacks but since iTunes 8, we can't change the metal brushed interface so, I've made a new skin, humbler and grey.
As many of you liked my work, here thus the last version.
I hope you'll enjoy it.

Here's a screenshot:

Finally, here is my tutorial to make your own iTunes skin:
http://thepiratebay.ee/tor/4006323

If when you try to install you have this message:
"the following installation process failed: run preupgrade script for itunes by psykozz!"
All you need is trash this file:
HD/Library/Receipts/iTunes.pkg
Then, installation is OK! ;-)

If you like it, please seed! ;-)
If you find it ugly, don't waste your time here!

See you!

Comments

It can be downloaded from Apple site; it's free!
It's a themed version...
Downloaded and installed iTunes 8.1 by Psykozz (you),
hm, nothing have changed... can you help? Explain what's next etc. appreciate it.
@ PNM, have you try to trash iTunes and re-install it?
You only have to install from .pkg and it must works.
You know thats what I did. Still no luck.
after I install it, I cant find it anywhere on my HD,
and I use Mac, OS X 10.4.11.

Can you send some more information, step by step instructions what to do and what files if any I should drop into library folder or delete. Appreciate it.
Regards,
P.N.M.
Brother, come on... help here. It does not work, reinstalling just doe not fix the problem.

Also, this is just a font file not entire iTunes, come on man. explain your creation.

Thank you.

@ PNM, I don't know why you've got this problem, it's really strange.
You can extract iTunes directly from .pkg :

1- Open .dmg file
2- right click on .mpkg file and choose "show package contents"
3- Go to Resources and right click on iTunesX.pkg to show package contents to.
4- Inside, you find Archive.pax.gz
5- Put it on your desktop and uncompress it
6- Enjoy, it must works!
You are great man, thank you for such a thorough and guided instruction.

Did as you suggested, and it works.
Now I have two iTunes on my mac, if it does not create a problem for my OS X
I'll keep two applications work for me, when I get tiered of another ill switch to previous.

Thanks again
